Team USA Announced for 3rd Olympiad for People with Disabilities

2026 Olympiad for People with Disabilities Team Announced

The 3rd FIDE Olympiad for People with Disabilities will take place from September 10 through 17 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Team USA returns three members of last year's team, which finished tied for sixth in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The following is the list of official players. Captain will be determined by player vote, and this page will be updated after the vote has taken place. The McConnell brothers and Celine Atassi return from last year's team. Jordan Timm is making his Olympiad debut, and Pranav Shankar makes his in-person Olympiad debut, but Shankar was a member of the online team that earned a top-10 finish in 2020.
