Canceled: 2020 National K-12 Grade Championships

US Chess announces that the National K-12 Grade Championships has been canceled due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 global pandemic. It will not be rescheduled.

The 2020 edition was scheduled to take place from December 11-13 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. US Chess did not take this step lightly. The decision is based on Florida state guidelines on social distancing as well as federal guidance through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Refunds

• Hotel: Do not call the Rosen Shingle Creek; the property will automatically refund all reservations made there for this event.  
• Event Entry Fees: Do not call US Chess for event refunds; we will automatically refund all entry fees paid.
