Team Rooms for National Middle School Championship

Team rooms for the 2022 National Middle School Championship will be made available at 12:00pm Eastern time, Monday, March 21.   The registration system will be open for one week, and will close at 5:00pm Eastern time, Monday, March 28.

Group size determines priority, but any group may request a room

Any group, no matter how few players it intends to bring, may request a team room.  Priority will be given to groups with at least 15 players.  If there are additional rooms after all groups with at least 15 players have been given space guarantees, additional space guarantees will be offered to groups of less than 15 players until there is either no more demand or no more supply.  

Team Spaces

We have 17 team rooms available this year.  Due to limited space, we will not be able to offer any auxiliary Team Spaces at the 2022 National MS.

It is a significant challenge to make team rooms at national events as accessible as possible while maintaining a manageable system.  US Chess will continue to monitor the system and make changes as we deem necessary.  We thank you for your understanding as we continuously work to improve your players' experiences at our events. We hope that the new reservation system implemented this year will be easy for all to use.
