John Leguizamo on Critical Thinking [VIDEO]

Actor and producer John Leguizamo, the star and director of "Critical Thinking" spoke to our US Chess Girls Club about the process of making, casting and directing the movie, based on the true story of the 1998 Miami Jackson High School Championship chess team. Leguizamo also talks passionately about the importance of Latin representation in film and TV.

The class, hosted by Jennifer Shahade for US Chess Women​, also features Executive Producer Carla Berkowitz and former US Junior Champion FM Marcel Martinez. Carla talks about the 20-year process of getting this film made, while Marcel shows a career highlight from his 1999 US Junior Champs win.
