US Chess Women Awards Ten Online Grants to Programs Across the Country

Kentucky Chess Ambassadors

US Chess is happy to announce the recipients of a series of online program grants for events to promote women and girls in chess. These funds were generously provided in partnership with the Saint Louis Chess Club. Grantees include Kentucky Chess Ambassadors (see photo above!) and the Unruly Queens, who just announced their schedule of camps and tournaments (alternating with women's and open events.) 

Recipients included

  1. The Kentucky Chess Ambassadors  (see photo above)
  2. The Indermaur Chess Foundation, also a recipient of last year's live event grants, where they hosted "Chess Moms Play Too!'
  3. Mechanics' Institute
  4. Chess in the Schools, Inc (CIS)
  5. American Chess Academy
  6. The Unruly Queens (via NY State Chess Association)
  7. Berkeley Chess School
  8. Whittier High School Chess Club
  9. Girls Code Chess
  10. US Chess School
