US Chess Welcomes New Member Services Associate

US Chess is pleased to welcome Laird Davis to its team as the new Member Services Associate.

Laird Davis

Laird has a B.A. in Communication from Appalachian State University and was involved in his university’s television station as a co-host and anchor for various programs. Since graduating, Laird has been acquiring new tech skills and working in retail management.

Laird has been engaged with gaming communities, dating back to high school where he was a member of the school chess club. He appreciates how the love for the game can bring people together and looks forward to helping that community grow. The 2009 Missouri State Champion in cursive handwriting, he enjoys reading, traveling, and playing a variety of tabletop games in his downtime.
