Tactics Tuesday: Variations From the 2025 U.S. Championships, Pt. 1

This week's puzzles all come from the ongoing 2025 U.S. Championship and Women's Championship. When learning chess, it's important to look at the moves that aren't played, as well as the ones that are. Today, almost every puzzle comes from a variation that looked reasonable, but would have been losing.
