Newsflash: Caruana and Carlsen Draw Centurion Game

The first game of the wildly anticipated Carlsen-Caruana World Championship match was a Sicilian Rossolimo, where Fabiano Caruana fell into heavy pressure on both the clock and the board as time control approached. The reigning World Champ Magnus Carlsen played some inaccuracies including 36...h4 (allowing 37. e5!) and missing ...38. Rg3! as pinpointed by Garry Kasparov, special guest on the Today in Chess show. After the dust of time pressure settled, the American challenger had a holdable ending.
