Introducing US Chess Members Only Online Prize Arenas

This fall, US Chess will begin hosting online prize arena tournaments on Chess.com exclusively for US Chess members. This innovative format will allow participants to come late, leave early, and play as many games as they can without waiting for a round to finish.

As a soft launch, the first test arena will be on Friday, August 15 at 3 p.m. CDT. To register, please read our Members Only Prize Arena FAQ page and follow the instructions there.

We invite all current members to follow the instructions below to register and compete. This will be a great opportunity to test the format and infrastructure, so the more people who register, the more useful the test will be! 

Our last Members Only Tournament (not an arena) brought in 433 players. Can you help us beat that record? Plus, top finishers will win US Chess merchandise.
