Emily Nguyen Wins US Junior Girls Championship

Congrats to 13-year-old Emily Nguyen of Texas who took clear first in the US Junior Girls Championship with 6.5/9. The tournament, held from June 25-29 in Manchester, NH was extremely competitive, with lots of decisive games: Each player scored at least two victories.

16-year-old WIM Agata Bykovtsev (California) was clear second with 6/9.

These are very challenging tournaments with very tough and dedicated players, but you remained strong, determined and focused the entire time. Winning this championship says a lot about you.
