Ratings System Maintenance on September 13/14

US Chess will be preforming maintenance of the ratings system to speed up the rerate and supplement cycles.  
 

1. We will stop rating newly submitted events as of 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept.13. 
    
2. The weekly rerate that would normally be performed on Sept. 13 will be deferred until the end of the maintenance window.
    
3. The tasks may take longer than one day to complete, so the maintenance window will be for Sept. 13 and 14.

During this time, no new events will be rated or posted to the Member Services Area (MSA) and the weekly rerate will not occur until the end of the maintenance window, so no post-event ratings will be updated. Membership updates will continue to be posted to MSA. This should have no effect on ratings (other than not updating them for two days), processing or displaying updated memberships, the ability to upload and edit new tournaments (other than delaying when they are initially rated), or on registration for national events.
