Notice of Planned US Chess Server Outage, March 7-10

Two US Chess servers will be offline from 10 p.m. ET on Monday, Mar. 7, through 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, Mar. 10, while the servers are being moved to a new data center.

Certain online functions will be impacted and will not be available during this outage. They include:

  • Tournament submissions
  • Ratings server computations
  • National event registrations

When completed, this move will improve redundancy, availability, and security of our systems.
