Three rounds are in the books at the 2019 National High School Championships in Schaumburg, IL, and round four is currently underway.
Fifteen perfect scores remain in the Championship, a number that will surely be winnowed down by the end of the day’s play. Some of those fifteen have had to win multiple upset victories, including Joseph Truelson, a 2140 rated player from Washington who has defeated Ben Li (2476) and Justin Paul (2337) on his way to the top boards.
