Flash Report: SuperNationals VIII Results

ORLANDO, FL: The 501(c)3 US Chess Federation’s SuperNationals VIII took place from May 9 through 11 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. SuperNationals combines the three Spring National Scholastic Championships (Elementary, Middle, and High School grade levels) into one event, and it takes place only once every four years.

With SuperNationals VII canceled in 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns, this year marked the first edition of the tournament since Nashville's SuperNationals VI in 2017.

Below are the individual and team winners of each Championship section. When co-champions are listed, they are in tiebreak order. This page will be uploaded ASAP with photos from the awards ceremonies. A full report, including analysis from WGM Sabina Foisor and more photos from Sunday's rounds and events, will be available later in the day on Monday. Daily recaps are already available for Thursday's side events, Friday's opening rounds, and Saturday's games.

All individual scores, for all sections, are out of seven points. All team scores are out of 28 points. Standings are available here, but check the "Winners" tab to confirm tie-break scores. This report will continue to be updated as soon as possible with photos from the awards ceremonies.
