Thanksgiving Greetings from US Chess

Finding gratitude in 2020 might be more difficult than in past years. As we enter the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season, US Chess has much to be grateful for. We extend a heartfelt Thank You to our members, affiliates, volunteers, supporters, and friends. Without you, US Chess would be a shell of an organization.

While our journey in 2020 has been filled with the unexpected, please know that we are committed to letting the games go on, in whatever form is possible right now. We hope you have found a way to be satisfied by the many ways to play rated chess, or perhaps you have found a way to teach another person to play the game. Whatever your involvement, we hope your love of chess continues.

Please be aware that our office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, 11/26, and Friday, 11/27 so that our staff can enjoy the holiday. Our office will reopen on Monday, 11/30, at 8:00 a.m. Central Time.

Whether you're playing chess, enjoying time with family, eating a hearty Thanksgiving Day meal, or enjoying a well-deserved rest this long holiday weekend, Thank You for being the best part of who we are as an organization and stay safe and healthy during this holiday season.

Sincerely,

US Chess
