US Chess is experiencing outages in portions of our website. We are actively working to fix this as quickly as possible. US Chess apologizes for the inconvenience to the public and our members.
UPDATE: February 4, 7:00 a.m. CST:
As of 7:00 a.m. CST, much of our website functionality is restored. However, the Gambit area that powers our Tournament Director and Affiliate area, the membership database, and the webstore is still down due to a hard drive issue. As these are key services, we are working hard to get this area restored as quickly as possible. During this outage, tournaments will not be rated and no memberships processed.
We are merging the data to a new drive, but as it is a significant amount of data, the process will take time. We anticipate, but cannot guarantee, that this process will complete on February 4.
More updates will be provided when we have hard information.
