The US Chess Delegates voted to change to an exclusively electronic ballot at the 2023 Annual Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a result, the postal ballot option will no longer be available.
US Chess will be using Election Buddy to conduct the election, with oversight by the US Chess Election Committee. We will send you a link to participate in the election June 10, 2025. That email will come from US Chess (Click here to show email address) and will have the subject: Vote now: US Chess – 2025 Executive Board Election.
If your invitation does not arrive on the day it is expected, please check your spam folder before contacting US Chess to request a replacement link. More specific instructions for voting electronically will be provided directly before it is time to vote.
You may vote for up to four candidates. If you wish to vote for someone who is not listed, you may indicate write-in choices. Write-ins must be current US Chess members. No employee of US Chess is eligible to be a member of the Executive Board. (If you are casting a write-in vote, it is recommended [but not required] that you also provide the member’s US Chess ID number to avoid any possible ambiguity.)
