This is a FREE EVENT, for those who pre-register no later than Friday, April 12, 2024
(optional cash donation for Worcester Chess Club of any amount accepted at door).

All Sections – 4SS – G/25;d5 = 4 Rounds, 25 Minutes each with 5 second delay

SECTIONS & PRIZES: All Sections Require USCF membership except for unrated section

UNRATED SECTION
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place will receive Medals

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
* You must check-in 20 minutes before tournament or receive a 1/2 pt. bye, Tournament will not be delayed
* This is a FREE Chess Tournament, optional cash donation. Must Pre-register. All proceeds help the WSU Chess Club

* On-Site Entry the Day of Event is $20 (cash only), Entries after 9:40 AM receive a 1/2 pt. bye
* Event will be held in rooms located in the Student Center, plenty of parking available
* Round 1 will start at 10:00 AM, runs continuously except for break for lunch
* Chess sets & some clocks provided, please bring a clock if you have one
* Byes must be requested in advance.
* Players can always play “up” in a higher section.
* Sections may be combined if needed, prizes still awarded from each section
* Unrated Section does not require USCF Membership, required in all other sections
