Phoenix Fall Classic Chess Tournament

This tournament has five different sections for players depending on their age and skill.  Children play only against opponents in their own section.  The first round is at 10:00am for all sections.  The tournament concludes around 2:00pm with an awards ceremony where the top players and top school receive trophies.

* Players should arrive around 9:45am
* The first round begins at 10:00am
* All sections are non-elimination, and all players participate in all four rounds
* We provide FREE US Chess Federation memberships for all participants, a $17 value!
* For players using chess clocks, the time control is G/25 with a 5-second time delay

Online registration is $40 before noon on the Tuesday before the tournament, then $50 until until Friday at noon, then $60.  Players who register after 9:30am on Sunday will miss the first round.  Chess sets are provided, but bring a clock if you have one.
