$705 GUARANTEED PRIZE FUND

  • Open Section Prizes: 1st Place: $250, 2nd: $125, Top U1700: $100
  • U1400 Section Prizes: 1st: $120, 2nd: $60, Top U1000: $50
  • Trophy for Top K-12 player
  • Plaque for Top College Team (top 3 scorers in either section)

Time control: G/35;+5 (35 minutes per side with 5-second bonus per move)

4SS(4-round Swiss System). CLOCKS AND SETS WILL BE PROVIDED.

 

SCHEDULE

  • On-Site Registration: 11:30am-12:00pm
  • Round 1: 12:30pm
  • Round 2: 2:00pm
  • Round 3: 3:30pm
  • Round 4: 5:00pm
  • Awards by 6:30PM (ASAP.)

There is no scheduled lunch break. We encourage players to eat lunch beforehand and bring snacks.

 

ENTRY FEE

  • $25 entry fee per player until Nov. 16st
    • $30 until Nov. 21st
  • $35 for on-site registrations (Cash accepted, however advanced registration is highly encouraged)
  • USCF Membership is required to play in this tournament

(One 1/2-point bye available per player. Please note in the registration page in the question/comment section which round you would like the 1/2-point bye if you would like one.)

(If there are less than 8 people in either section, then we will combine sections and use accelerated pairings (total prize fund will remain the same))
