Making Moves

Join the Royal Oak Initiative, Columbus Chess Club, and Columbus Chess Academy as we gather to support Ernest in a relaxed competition with food, fun, music and good vibes!  Come join us in this community chess event to celebrate and support Ernest and his family.

Time: 9:30 AM - 5 PM

Tournament Details:

• On-site registration/check-in starts at 10 AM
• First round begins at 10:30 AM
• 4 Rounds
• 2 sections: Rated and Nonrated
• Rapid: G20/d5 (each person gets 20 minutes on their clock with a 5 second delay)
• Those who want to play in the rated section must have an active US Chess membership
• Tournament fee is pay-what-you-want
• All proceeds from the tournament entry fees will go towards Ernest's family
• The winners of each section will get a trophy
