The Scholastic section is for K-12 students. It will consist of 3 rounds (Swiss System), G/30; d5 (each side has 30 minutes to make all moves, with a 5-second delay before each move).
Rounds Times:
Scholastic
Round 1: 5PM -6 PM
Round 2: 6PM -7 PM
Round 3: 7PM -8 PM
Entry fee: $10
Registration:
On-site registration from 4.30-5:0. USCF membership is required.
Additional information: Byes: One 1/2-point bye per player. Last round bye must be requested prior to the start of the 1st round to receive a 1/2 -point. Byes for all other rounds must be requested during registration.
