OVERVIEW
CCC Rapid and Blitz - North is a 1-day event offering 14 rapid/blitz rated games and a $750 guaranteed prize fund!
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
- Participants must be US Chess members.
- Each event (rapid, blitz) is limited to the first 42 to register.
- Online registration only.
- Registration for each event closes 15 minutes prior to round 1 if not already full.
RAPID SCHEDULE
- Registration closes 12:45pm.
- Rounds: 1:00pm, 1:40pm, 2:20pm, 3:00pm, 3:40pm
- Break between Rapid and Blitz: 4:15-5:00pm
RAPID FORMAT
- Time Control: G/10; inc/5
- 5 Games (Swiss, single rounds)
- 1 open section with class prizes
- Live US Chess Regular Ratings used for pairings and prizes
- TD may use US Chess Quick or FIDE Rapid ratings if higher
- US Chess Quick and FIDE Rapid Rated

Players rated 2200+: Free entry ($25 deduction from prize per event - no deduction for GMs, IMs, 2400+)
CCC Members: $25 per event
