Event Overview
Beachwood Scholastic Quads will include scholastic players in grades K-12 of all levels. Chess sets will be provided and clocks for the top quads.
Format: All play 3 games, no elimination.
Time Control: 25 minutes per player with 5 second delay.
Sections: Players will be grouped by rating in 4 player sections. Unrated players will be grouped by age.
USCF rated: Free USCF membership for new members or players with expired memberships.
Schedule: It is Mandatory that players check-in by 12:40pm to participate and agree to complete all three games. Games will begin at 1:00 PM sharp. All rounds pre-paired. Estimated finish: 4:00pm at the latest, average completion 3:00pm.
Entry fee: $20 online only. Online registration closes Feb 2 at 9pm. Register at progresswithchess.org/quads
Prizes: Trophies to first place finishers in each Quad. Participation medals to all participants.
