US Chess Rated Tournament

A 4 round Swiss System, G/60 +5.

REGISTER HERE FOR RATED SECTIONS

Prizes:

  • 1st place:  $300.
  • Class A (1800-1999)  $160.
  • Class B (1600—1799) $160.
  • Class C (1400-1599) $160.
  • Class D & below (1399 & below) $120.

Schedule:

Saturday, Oct 11:
  • Registration,  7:30 – 8:00 am - Please register online.  
  • Round 1,  8:15 am
  • Round 2,  10:25 am
  • Round 3,  1:35 pm
  • Round 4,  3:45 pm
  • Awards, 6:00 pm

Sections:

  • Two Sections
  • Open Section 1600 and above
  • Reserve Section U1600
  • If registration exceeds 4 round limits, we may split sections differently, CLASS PRIZES DO NOT CHANGE
  • Players are automatically registered into the appropriate section.

Entry Fee:
Early Bird Registration:  $40 before 10/4
Advanced Registration:  $45 before 10/10
Onsite Registration:  $50.

Casual Players Tournament

A great first tournament!  A four-round Swiss System tournament where players are not eliminated.  Time control is 30 minutes per player with 5 seconds added per move.  This section is for NON-US Chess members.

Prizes:

US Chess membership for the top finisher.  Only first time US Chess members are eligible for the prize.

  • Round 1,  10:15 am

  • Round 3,  1:35 pm
  • Round 4,  2:45 pm
  • Awards, 4:25 pm
