2026 Fremont All-Girls Chess Championships 

registration will be open in January 2026. Please save the date: Sunday April 26th, 2026. 

The event will be completely FREE, made possible by generous sponsorship from US Chess Women grants. 

Time: 10:00am - 3:30pm, Sunday April 26th, 2026

Time Control: 4 round Swiss, G/30;d5

First round starts at 10am. All players should arrive 15 minutes prior to the first round. Next round starts after the last game finishes in your section (rolling schedule). There is no set break time for lunch, so please plan accordingly.

Rating: USCF Dual-Rated.

Players must have current US Chess Federation membership, except for the K-3 section where it is considered as a Junior Tournament Player (JTP) Program where US Chess membership is not required. 

Capacity: Registration closes once we hit our maximum capacity of 90!

Sections: K-3, K-5, K-8, K-12 

We may update event details, like sections and number of rounds, as the tournament date approaches to ensure the best possible experience for all players.
