2024 Kansas Blitz State Championship

Registration: 

Advance at https://www.kingregistration.com/event/KSBlitz24 by July 17 by midnight. 

Onsite: 6 – 6:30 pm 
 

Entry Fee Advance:

$25 (or combine with KS Open for $70 by 7/12 midnight), 

$10 Scholastic, not eligible for prizes. 

King Registration will close at 6 pm on July 14.
 

Late/Onsite:

$35,  $15 Scholastic, not eligible for prizes. 

$10 Withdrawal fee
 

Memberships: 

USCF and KCA memberships are required, OSA 
 

Rounds:

Five-round double swiss (10 games in total).  

First round 7 PM, rounds runs immediately upon completion of prior round
 

Time control

G/5;d0. USCF Blitz rules.  Bring a chess clock, may forfeit without clock
 

Prize Fund: (based on 40 non-scholastic players) 

1st $200, 2nd $120, 3rd $80,

U2000 $60, U1700 $50, U1400/Unr. $40 

1st Scholastic Plaque

Bonus $25 and plaque to Kansas Blitz Champion. (Kansas Resident) 

Prizes paid out on 7/20 at the beginning of 1st round
