1) Open Section
(USCF Players whose rating is above 1000)
This section is Eligible for Prizes
Early Online Entry Fee = $25 / $30 at Door
2) UNRATED/PROVISIONAL Section
(USCF players who have not played their 26 games to reach an official USCF Rating but has a provisional rating above 1000) ***
Early Online Entry Fee = $10 / $15 at door
3) U1000 Section
(USCF Players whose rating is below 1000) ***
Early Online Entry Fee = $10 / $15 at door
*** If needed, Sections 2 & 3 may get combined
Early Online Registration ends on 5/17/2022 at 6:00 PM
Doors open at 10:00 AM on 5/21/2022
Onsite Registration ends at 10:45 AM on morning of tournament.
Tournament will start approximately 11:00 AM
Time Controls:
4 Rounds of G40; d05
Limited to a combined total of 40 Players
1st Round to start at approximately 11:00 AM
Prizes:
Prize fund & Prize Payout increases with each new entrant to Section 1 (Open Section) and prizes are only available to Section # 1 (Open Section)
For example, if 20 People enter Section 1, payout will =
1st Place $110
2nd Place $68
3rd Place $55
U1700 - $45
U1300 - $45
Tournament Requirements:
Must have a valid and verifiable USCF ID – If unable to verify, Membership can be purchased onsite. ***

Golden Rating Supplement from USCF Downloaded each month to help verify current ratings.
Chess Sets provided.

Concerning Tournament:
Covered/Bottled drinks are allowed at the Board.
Bottled water will be provided free of charge, while supplies last!
Players can bring snacks +/or food to be eaten outside only.
A variety of concessions will be available $.50 per bag
