Event Overview
This is a USCF-rated event for the Kleptz YMCA of Englewood Chess Club. (Non-members from the community pay $5 to the YMCA at the site.) ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. Cost: $15 (payable online).
Prize Fund. Guaranteed $410. 8 Categories—one prize per category. First overall $100; Categories A/B/C/D/E $50; Class F/G 600-999 - $30; Class H/I/J 100-599 - $30. Any profit will go to the Brethren Youth Group.
It starts at 9 am sharp.

The time control is G25+5. New or first-time players must obtain a USCF membership by going to
Bring a clock and a regulation chess set. Some supplied. Clocks without an increment time, e.g., delay or analog, will be adjusted by adding 5 minutes.
The event is expected to conclude by 1:15 pm. Kids under 16 should have a parent present.
The tournament will take place in the Heritage Room. An alternative room is available for kibitzing and parents.
