Wyoming State Championship

Must be a Wyoming resident to enter. EF: $25 by Sept. 15, 2023. $30 after Sept. 15 and at door. SITE: Sheridan Ramada by Windham  1809 Sugarland Drive, Sheridan, WY  82801. SECTIONS: Open and Championship. Open Section - 5-round swiss style. Championship Section - 5-round round-robin. PRIZES: b/entries Time Control: G/90 d5 Wyoming Chess Association Onsite Reg: Sat. Sept 23 from 8:00-8:30 A.M. RDs: Sat. 9:00 A.M. 1:30 P.M. 5:00 P.M. Sun. 9:00 A.M. 1:30 P.M. Prizes: by entries.

The Championship Section is open only to the 6 highest rated players from Wyoming who are present and check in Saturday, September 23 from 8:00-8:30 AM. Participants in the Championship Section must be members of the Wyoming Chess Association - $20 membership fee. The Championship Section will be used to determine the 2023 Wyoming State Champion. The winner of the 2023 Open Section will qualify for the 2024 Championship Section.
