WPI Chess Tournament

The WPI chess club will be hosting a tournament on Saturday, April 26th! There will be two sections: a USCF-rated section and an unrated section. Attendance will be free of charge for any WPI students, faculty, or staff, with a $2 entry fee for the USCF-rated section for anyone from outside WPI.

Location: Unity Hall - Check in at room 520 - fifth floor.

Time: April 26th, 2025, at 11:30 am

Time Control: 4 rounds of 25;d5

While we will have chess sets and clocks, please bring your own sets and clocks if you can!

The USCF-rated section has a limit on the number of available spots. While we don't expect to reach it, if we do, spots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: the doors to Unity Hall may be locked on the day of the tournament. As such, it will likely be easier to gain access from fifth floor entrance located on campus.
