USCF rated, USCF membership required

4 Rounds Swiss Open … G/45, +5 second increment

Membership must be current through October 2026 by the day of the tournament. Membership will NOT be available onsite. Membership is available online at www.uschess.org.  Please bring proof of membership or membership ID number to the tournament.

SCHEDULE: Registration 9:00 am – 9:45 am

Rd 1 @ 10:00 a.m.  Rd 2 @ 1 pm. All other rounds ASAP. 

PRIZE $$:     1st = 20%                            (example based on 16.. $400 entry fees = $80)

                      2nd = 15%                           (example based on 16.. $400 entry fees = $60)

                      A, B, C, D/E = 11.25%         (example based on 16.. $400 entry fees = $45)

                     1st Unrated = 10%                (example based on 16.. $400 entry fees = $40)

                     2nd Unrated = 7.5%             (example based on 16.. $400 entry fees = $30)

               Please note the prize fund is based on entries and will be adjusted, both up and down 

               Prize fund equals 97.5% of entry fees

ENTRY FEE:  $25 for adults, $20 for college students with ID and kids under 18.

PARKING:    Free parking is available on State Street and most WKU lots are free on weekends.  There is a large lot at 1400 Chestnut Street behind Kelly Thompson Hall.

                        Entry to Kelly Thompson Hall will be from the State Street side. Look for signs.
