Time control: G/40 d5
Format: 4-SS.
3 Sections: Open, Under 1500, Under 900
Rounds: 9 and 11 am each day (7/30 and 8/6)
One half point bye allowed, must be requested with registration. Byes can't be removed after round 1 starts.
Early registration (closes 7/28 5pm): $35
Late registration (closes 7/29 7pm): $45

Starting June, You Will Need Westfield YMCA Basic Chess Program Or Normal YMCA Membership To Come To The Tournament. The Fee For The YMCA Basic Chess Program Is $45 For One Year ($10 More To Include One Parent). This Is Part Of YMCA's Effort To Reduce The Lines Of Players Waiting To Getting Inside The Building And Make It Safer For All Players. Prizes, by section (b/64 total paid entries):
Open - $200-100-50, Top U1800 $50 
Under 1500 - $100-50, Top U1200 $50
Under 900 - $60-40

The Westfield CC reserves the right to:

1. Charge cancellation/re-stocking fees or suspend/ban players for late or silent withdrawals.
2. Suspend/ban or charge compensatory/reinstatement fees to those playing with an expired USCF membership.

If you are under age 18, a parent will have to sign for you. Everyone must also agree to the YMCA's Code of Conduct and Westfield Chess Club Policy.
