RAPID

4 round Swiss System with a time control of Game/10+5 second increment per move.  Regular ratings will be used for pairings and prizes but event will be quick rated.

Entry Fee: $25 by 8/3, $30 by 8/8, $40 by 8/10.

Prizes: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $125, 3rd Place $100, U1800 $50, U1200 $30. Based on 40 Players.

Rounds: 1:00pm, 1:45pm, 2:30pm, 3:15pm.

One half point bye is available if requested before Round 2 begins. 

BLITZ

5 round Double Swiss System with a time control of Game/3 minutes +2 second increment per move.  Regular ratings will be used for pairings and prizes but event will be blitz rated.

Entry Fee: $25 by 8/3, $30 by 8/8, $40 by 8/10.

Prizes: 1st Place $150, 2nd Place $125, 3rd Place $100, U1800 $50, U1200 $30. Based on 40 Players.

Rounds: 4:00 pm then ASAP. Estimated End Time is 7:00pm.

One half point by is available for a double round if requested by the first blitz round.

Refund Policy: If you register for the tournament and are unable to make it, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the start of round one. If this is done, then Growth Chess will refund your entry fee less $5 for admin fees.
