4 Round Swiss Tournament (G/45;d5) with 4 sections (1800+, U1800, U1400, U900)

Sections

• 1800+  (Open to players rated 1800 and higher)
• Under 1800  (Open to players rated 1200-1799)
• Under 1400  (Open to players rated 700-1399)
• Under 900  (Open to players rated 899 or less)

Rounds & Times

     Four Rounds at a time control of G/45;d5

• 9:00 to 9:20 AM - Registration & Check-in

All players must check in & pay registration fee by 9:20 am.

• 9:30 AM  -  Round 1
• 11:15 AM - Round 2
• 1:30 PM  -  Round 3 
• 3:15 PM  -  Round 4

Entry Fee & Prizes

• $20 - Cash only. Paid on arrival to the tournament. 
• Cash Prizes, based on the number of entries. The prize list will be posted on-site.

Registration

• Limited Capacity of 60 players!
• Register online to ensure you get a spot. No payment will be taken online.

• Onsite Registration is 9:00-9:20 AM.  If you show up on-site without pre-registering, there's a chance the tournament will already be full.
• Because we do not accept advanced payment, anyone not checked in by 9:20 a.m. will not be paired in round 1. If you are running late and notify us that you are on the way, you can still be paired for round 1.

• Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1624 Wooded Acres Dr.  Waco, TX 76710 (Behind Target Shopping Center)
  • Enter through the main doors and turn right. The tournament room is at the end of the hallway.
  • Free parking on-site

Details

• Bring a clock if you have one. The club has limited supplies. We provide sets.
• US Chess Membership is required. Please be responsible for your membership before the event.
• Notation is required.  Please bring a pen or pencil. Notation sheets will be available if needed.
