Unity Chess Sunday Weekly

The Unity Sunday Weekly is our most popular weekly event!

A four round swiss tournament played in 2 sections - Open & U1400, beginning at 2:15pm, every Sunday of the year! Each player receives 30 minutes with a 5 second time increment. USCF Rated. Current USCF Membership is required. All USCF Tournament Rules apply, tournament director's decisions are final. Notation required for all sections.

Special Feature: Free game analysis for U1400 section provided by FM Pedram Atoufi

Entry Fee: $25 (1 unit)

Exciting New Prizes for Unity Sunday Weekly Tournaments!

We are thrilled to introduce a range of exciting new prizes to motivate and reward our dedicated players participating in the Unity Sunday Weekly tournaments! Starting this month, we are implementing the following awards:

Champion of the Month

The Champion of the Month title will be awarded to the player with the maximum number of points in that month's Unity Sunday Weekly tournaments. Prizes will be given in two categories:

• Overall Top Player for Each Section (Open and U1400)
• Top Scholastic Player for Each Section (Open and U1400)

Winners will receive a prestigious plaque with their name engraved on it, honoring their dedication and skill.

Champion of the Year

The Champion of the Year title will be awarded to players who have accumulated the most points throughout the calendar year in our Sunday Weekly tournaments. Prizes will be given in two categories:

• Overall Top Player for Each Section (Open and U1400)
• Top Scholastic Player for Each Section (Open and U1400)

Winners will receive an engraved plaque and a special prize:

• Open: $600 cash prize
• U1400: $400 cash prize

Players can register for these tournaments through King Registration website. Unity chess players can send a message in the Telegram group to use their units and join the tournament.
