Tournament Information:

• Location: Hilton Garden Inn Tysons Corner located at 8301 Boone Blvd, Vienna, VA 22182
• 4 round Swiss tournament.
• USCF regular and quick rated. Time control: Game in 25 minutes with a 5-second delay.
• Sunday, January 22nd, 10:00 am to approximately 2:30 pm.
• Entry fee: $35 on or before Wednesday, $40 on or before Saturday, $45 on Sunday (on-site registration is allowed, registration for round one closes at 9:45 am on Sunday).
• Participants are not required to play all rounds. Please inform the tournament director if you plan to show up late or leave early.
• Four Sections: K-3, K-5, K-8, and K-12.
• In certain cases, we may merge sections to make the pairings work better. In the event that this happens, we would normally award trophies for 1st through 3rd overall in the merged section.
• PRIZES: Trophies to the top three in each section!
• We will have enough chess sets for all players. If you would like to use a clock, please bring one.
• Masks are optional.

Parking Information:

The hotel has a garage where anyone participating in the tournament can park for free. Just press the call button and tell the operator that you are a chess player, and they'll let you in for free. There's also some parking on the street.
