Site: Riverwood Community Clubhouse, 525 Riverleigh Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901.

Format: 4SS, G/40 (4-round Swiss-system tournament, 40 minutes per player). One open section. US Chess rated.

Schedule: Registration/check-in begins at 9:00 AM. Round 1 at 10:00 AM. Remaining rounds as soon as possible.

Entry Fee: $25. Advance registration encouraged. US Chess membership required.

Prizes: $200 guaranteed: 1st $100, 2nd $60, Top Under 1500 $40. Prize fund may increase based on turnout. One cash prize per player. Unrated players are not eligible for the Under 1500 prize.

Ties and Playoffs: Cash prizes will not be split. Tied players will be seeded using Modified Median, Solkoff, Sonneborn-Berger (US), and Cumulative tiebreaks, in that order. Ties requiring a cash-prize playoff will be resolved by unrated Armageddon games: White 10 minutes, Black 8 minutes; White must win, while Black has draw odds. No increment or delay. For a three-way tie, Seeds 2 and 3 play first, with the winner advancing to face Seed 1. Full playoff procedures will be available before Round 1.
