When & Where

• Every Tuesday, starting at 6:00pm
• Location: Game Haven Bakersfield
  1101 18th St, Suite 100, Bakersfield, CA 93301
• Check-in: 5:30 PM (Please be checked in by 5:45 PM so the round can start promptly at 6 PM)

Format & Schedule

• Monthly 4-round tournament, one round each Tuesday
  • Round 1 – 1st Tuesday
  • Round 2 – 2nd Tuesday
  • Round 3 – 3rd Tuesday
  • Round 4 – 4th Tuesday
     
• Time control: G/45; d10
• Flexible entry—players can join any week, even mid-month
• If you know you'll miss a round, please give advance notice so pairings can be adjusted appropriately

Entry & Requirements

• Entry fee: $20 for the full month
• Prorated pricing available for players joining later in the month
• Payment accepted via Cash or Zelle ONLY
• Bring your own chess set and clock
• US Chess Federation membership required

Parking

• IMPORTANT: Please do not park in the Rice Bowl parking lot — alternate street parking is available nearby
