Join us for a beginner friendly scholastic (K-12th) grade chess tournament. Our Fall tournament series continues.
This tournament is for beginners and intermediate players (under 1400) who want to compete and be in an encouraging atmosphere.
Location:Northwest Community Church - 14913 Hutchinson Road, Tampa FL 33625
Saturday 11/23/24 10:00am - 5:00pm (4 rounds No Elimination).
Awards ceremony starts 4:30
Divisions:
Beginners 1 (K-3rd) U300 ; Trophies 1st-5th + Top Player(K-1st), Medallion.
Beginners 2 (K-12th) U400; Trophies 1st-5th, participation Chess Medallion.
Intermediate (1-12th) U700; Trophies 1st-5th, participation Chess Medallion.
Open (1-12th); Trophies 1st-3rd, participation Chess Medallion.
Time Control: g/30;d0
Concessions & Chess Store: Pizza Special $5.00(2 slices & h20/capri sun)
Active USCF membership is required.
