Event Overview
This Swiss Tournament will take place on Sunday, August 13, at 2 PM Eastern Time (1 pm CT, 12/noon MT, or 11 am PT). The time control will be game in 30 minutes with a 5-second increment, which affects regular online ratings. There will be four rounds, the first of which will begin at 2 PM Eastern Time. Subsequent rounds will begin shortly after the previous round concludes; the tournament will last approximately 3 hours. There will be two sections: Open and Under 700. Unrated players can play in either section, and rated players may “play up” into the higher section. The tournament will be run on Lichess. (Players will need a free Lichess account.)
