SMCC Blitz & G/90;d5 Quads

SMCC Summer Blitz - The Springfield, Missouri Chess Club's Summer Blitz is scheduled for Friday June 23, 2023 at 7:30 PM.  $5 entry will be donated to the Southside Senior Center, longtime home of the SMCC.  Extra donations are welcome.  Games will be US Chess blitz rated. We will play seven rounds of G/5;+3.  All ages welcome.

SMCC Summer G/90 Quads - Saturday June 24, 2023 at the Southside Senior Center.  $25 entry, first three titled players enter for free.  Extra donations to the senior center are welcomed.  Three rounds of G/90;d5.  Rounds 10 AM, 2 PM, 5:15 PM or immediately after round 2 if both players agree.  Players will be placed in sections of four players based on rating and starting with the highest rated players, playing each of the others in their section once.  If less than three are in the bottom section it will be combined with the section above it for a three-round Swiss using the same time control, schedule, and prizes as the quads.  Prizes: First place in the top section wins $125, first place in all other sections $65.  Remaining money from entry fees will be donated to the Southside Senior Center.
