Event Highlights

• Date and Time: Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM
• Location: UU Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton, NJ 08540
• Format: 3 or 4 rounds of the Swiss system, time control of G/25 +5

Eligibility

• Open to students in grades K–12.
• A valid USCF membership is required, except for the Starter section.
• Rating: All games are rated by USCF, except for the Starter section.

Awards

• Trophies for the top 3 players in all sections and the best team.
• Medals for players scoring 3 points.
• All Starter section participants receive a small trophy.

Rated Section:

• Primary K-5 (U600)
• Elementary K-12 (U900)
• Championship K-12 (U1300) – 3 rounds

Unrated Section:

• Starters K-4 (Unrated)
• Perfect for K-4 beginners, this section offers:
  • No Membership Needed: No USCF membership required.
  • Stress-Free Fun: No rating points pressure.
  • 🏆 Confidence Boost: Every participant takes home a small trophy!

Registration Fees

• $50 if registered by May 08.
• $60 thereafter. On-site registration is allowed, but participants may not be eligible for the first round.

Other Details

• Chess Sets: Provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own chess clocks.
