Entry Fee: $15 if registered by Sept. 15th ($20 if paid after Sept. 15th. )

• Round 1: 11:00am
• Round 2: 12:45pm
• Lunch Break: 2:30pm (Chick-Fil-A and convenience store IN BUILDING)
• Round 3: 3:00pm
• Round 4: 4:45pm
• Prizes given out by 6:30pm (ASAP)

• Room 119 in the Ceddia Union Building in Shippensburg University
  • If you enter from the side with UPS, you will have to take the stairs/elevator one floor up
• Free parking: Park in the C-7 parking lot (link to parking map: https://www.ship.edu/globalassets/visit/parkingmap.pdf)
  • C-7 is the lot opposing Luhrs Performing Arts Center. That will provide a good landmark. A day or two prior to the event, we will email all registered players a detailed guide on how to get to the playing hall. Not sure if you're on the email list? Email shippensburgchess@gmail.com. If you've registered for an event of ours (either this one or one before), you're on the email list.

1/2-point byes: One available per player. In comments/questions section of the registration form, please note which round you would like a 1/2 point bye. 

SHIPPENSBURG TOURNAMENT CALENDAR: 

• PA Team Championship (open to out of state players): Nov. 16-17, EF: $100 per team (4-5 players)
• Blitz: First Friday of every month starting in September
  • Tentative Schedule of Blitz events:
    • Friday, September 6th
    • Friday, Oct. 11th (Pushed back one week)
    • Friday, Nov. 1st
    • Friday, December 6th
  • EF: $5, G/3; +2, 4 double-round Swisses at least, potentially longer TBD
• Shippensburg Winter Open: Feb. 1st, 2025 (subject to change)
• Shippensburg Spring Open: TBD (Most likely April 1st or April 8th)
