Regular Entry Fee: $30. 

Special Entry Fee: $20 for senior citizens (age 65 or older) and Shepherd University students. 
 

Prize: 3pts = $80. 2.5pts = $40.
 

Format: G20, d5 Quads

 

 

 

3 round tournament where each game is 20 minutes with a 5 second delay for each player. Byes are not available.
 

USCF-rated players will be placed in quads based on rating; All games in rated quads will affect player ratings. Non-USCF players will be placed in quads based on age. All players have a chance to win money as long as they gain the 2.5 point minimum. (3pts = $80, 2.5 pts = $40). Therefore, bring a friend or family member to play as well!

 

Doors open at 9 am, first round begins at 9:35 am. Subsequent rounds start immediately as prior finish.

 

Please bring a chess set and chess clock, limited available onsite.
