Prizes: ($325 B/25) $100-$75; Top U2000/UNR, Top U1600, Top U1200: $50

Format: 4SS, G/30 d5 (4-round Swiss; Game in 30 minutes with a 5 second delay per move.)

Byes: Can request  a 1/2-point bye on registration. 

Rounds start at: 1030am and subsequent rounds occur 5 minutes after the last game ends. 

Entry Fee: 

• $0 for players with ratings over 2000 OR Shepherd University students. ($25 will be taken from winnings.)
• $25 for WV state players.
• $35 for out of state players.

Location Info: Shepherd University - Student Center. Cumberland Room. (The room is on the 3rd floor.)

Payment: Advance online pay is recommended. Paypal to @AnyaChess500 or CashApp to $AnyaEllis with a note of player's name. Refund is possible, without questions asked, if player withdrawal is before round 1 starts. We don't accept credit cards. Cash accepted onsite.

Notice: Chess sets and notation sheets are provided. Limited number of clocks at site. All entries count for based on prizes. Possible promotional photography will be taken for the Shepherdstown Chess Club. At the tournament director’s discretion, player section pairing, the number of sections, and/or section rating ranges may be modified on the day of the event. 

Tie Breaks (in order of use): Buchholz Median, Buchholz Total, (Sum of) Progressive Scores, Average of Opponents' Buchholz
