SCHOLASTIC CHESS LEAGUE
Description:
Sign your child up to have fun, make friends, and learn chess from one of Pennsylvania’s most renowned chess coaches. This program follows the model of youth sports and includes lessons on the fundamentals of chess strategy and tactics. Students will also participate in in-house ladder matches to refine their skills and prepare interested players for formal competition. Open to children ages 5–17 of all skill levels, including those who are brand new to the game.
About the Instructor:
Leteef Street is a former professional chess coach who led teams from Masterminds Chess Club and PPACS School to multiple city and state championships in the 2010s.
