San Angelo Chess Club Swiss Tournament Sat., July 23, 2022

Late Register and all payments: 8:30-8:45 am. First Round: 9:00 a.m. Other rounds ASAP. Short break will be given for lunch.

Prizes:  Cash prizes dependent on number of entries.

Additional Information

Format: 4 Round Swiss, everyone plays all games, no elimination.

Time Controls: G/30; d20. Affects both Regular and Quick Rating. Notation is required until either player has less than 5 minutes remaining of their time. Beginners may be excused from notation (with a possible time penalty) at the Director’s discretion.

Pre-Registration Entry Fee: Adults $20, players under age 19, $10 (Send email by Thursday, July21, 2022, to Click here to show mail address  Include name, USCF number, and current rating. Late/On-Site Registration: On-site entry fee is $30 adult/$20 minors.

Payment: Pay tournament entry fee (correct change please; cash only) at tournament.

Equipment: Sets provided. A limited number of clocks will be available for loan. USCF-approved electronic notation devices will be allowed. NO cell phones or other electronics in the playing area.

Food: Coffee shop will be open to the public the day of the tournament, so players will be able to purchase food and drink during the event. No outside food and drink allowed, please.
