Late Register and all payments: 8:30-8:45 am. First Round: 9:00 a.m. Other rounds ASAP. Short break will be given for lunch. Food available on site.

Prizes:  Cash prizes dependent on number of entries.

Format: 4 Round Swiss, everyone plays all games, no elimination. Maximum Number of players is 20 due to room size.

Time Controls: G/30; d10. Affects both Regular and Quick USCF Ratings. Notation is required until either player has less than 5 minutes remaining of their time. Beginners may be excused from notation (with a possible time penalty) at the Director’s discretion.

Pre-Registration Entry Fee: Please pre-register if possible. Adults $25, players under age 19, $15. Advance payment of tournament entry fee is not necessary; you will pay when you arrive. YOU MUST BE VERIFIED AS A PAID, CURRENT MEMBER OF USCF before your register for this tournament. Late/On-Site Registration: If you do not pre-register, you can pay on-site entry fee of $30 adult/$20 under age 19. We must be able to verify you have a PAID, CURRENT USCF MEMBERSHIP when you register.

Payment: Pay entry fee (cash or credit card) when you arrive at tournament.

Equipment: Sets and clocks provided, or you may use your own delay-capable digital clock. USCF-approved electronic notation devices will be allowed. NO active cell phones or other electronics in the playing area. Turn them completely off and put them in your bag or backpack.

Food: The Bearded Barista serves a great variety of sandwiches, snacks, shakes, smoothies, and coffee. Please plan to buy food there so we can continue to use their facility. The kitchen will be open only until 1:30 p.m. on the day of the tournament, but drinks will be available until end of tournament. No outside food and drink allowed.
