Rockne’s Rooks: Scholastic Chess Tournament

Join us for a fun, 3-round, dual rated tournament for scholastic players! There is a 30 participant limit, so please register soon!

Who: Open to players grades K-12! One section, open to all scholastic players.

When: Saturday, April 20th. Please arrive by 11:45am, so I can make sure you get paired! Registration is due by 7am on the 20th.

Where: Robinson Community Learning Center, 1004 N Eddy St, South Bend, IN 46617

Time Control: G/25;D5

Rounds: 3 rounds. First round at 12pm, Second round at 1:15pm, Third round at 2:30pm

Entry Fee: $5 (online only)

Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Notes: Brings boards and clocks if possible. Notation is optional, but highly recommended.

This is a US Chess Federation rated tournament, so an active USCF membership is required! It is a great opportunity for kids to play official chess.
